We had a great stop in Chicago on our Teens Drive Smart Driving Experience tour!
More than 260 teen drivers joined us to learn the rules of the road, how to control a car and much more.
Our participants learned the basics of car care, including how to check tire pressure and the seven basic fluids—
washer fluid, brake fluid, engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid and fuel.
Since texting and driving is such a critical issue with teen drivers, participants also were challenged to text while driving
golf carts through winding paths lined with cones. It’s much more difficult than you think!
We enjoy making new friends in each city, and we love to see our participants become friends throughout the event.
We were thrilled to meet Caitlyn and Skyler—a duo who met at last year’s Driving Experience in Chicago.
They have been friends ever since and reunited at this year’s event.
We were also happy to meet Maggie, who is a teen journalist from the Chicago Tribune’s The Mash.
She participated in our Saturday morning session and wrote a great article about her experience. Be sure to read it here!
Thanks for an unforgettable weekend, Chicago. Now, on to our hometown—Nashville!
