BRIDGESTONE AMERICAS “TEENS DRIVE SMART” MONTHLY DRAWING CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES

THE BRIDGESTONE AMERICAS “TEENS DRIVE SMART” MONTHLY DRAWING (“CONTEST”) IS OFFERED BY BRIDGESTONE AMERICAS TIRE OPERATIONS, LLC (‘SPONSOR”). THE CONTEST IS LIMITED TO PARTICIPANTS ONLY IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (“U.S.”) AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC PROVINCE).  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. CONTEST BEGINS 6/30/08 AND CONTINUES UNTIL TERMINATION BY SPONSOR. A WINNER WILL BE SELECTED BY RANDOM DRAWING EACH MONTH ON THE LAST BUSINESS DAY OF EACH MONTH (“DRAWING PERIOD”) UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT SPONSOR POSTS NOTICE ON THE WEBSITE OF TERMINATION OF FUTURE MONTHLY DRAWINGS.

ELIGIBILITY. Drawing is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia (“U.S.) and Canada (excluding Quebec Province), aged 16 or older, with a valid driver’s license. LOCAL RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY. CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

ENTRY. Entry in the contest is available online only through the Sponsor’s website www.teensdrivesmart.com. Entry requires entrants to sign up for a monthly e-mail newsletter on topics related to tire and automotive safety and/or complete a 10-question quiz related to tire and automotive safety. Entrants must click the “subscribe” or “submit score” button to be automatically entered into the contest to be eligible for a monthly drawing to win one of five US$100 gas cards. To enter, access the website during the Drawing Period, sign up for the e-newsletter as directed and/or complete the quiz as directed and submit it as directed. Entry must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM Eastern Time the calendar day before the last business day of the month to be eligible for that month’s drawing. Limit of one winner per household. Persons who sign up through the "Sign Up" page will receive a confirmation e-mail. Persons who sign up through the "Road Test" game will receive on-screen confirmation but will not receive confirmation by e-mail. Persons can cancel the e-newsletter subscription at any time without penalty or cost. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will be neither acknowledged nor returned. Please read our Privacy Policy for information on how information gathered through the www.teensdrivesmart.com website may be used.

SELECTION. All submitted entries will be included in a database that is monitored by the Sponsor. Participants will be assigned a designated ID number. Names and e-mail addresses of participants will not be disclosed to the Sponsor. Through a random selection process using an independent third-party software provider, five winners per month will be selected from that month’s entries. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received each month. Entries not selected in a Monthly Drawing will not be retained and therefore will not be eligible for future drawings.

PRIZES. The winners will each receive a US$100 gas card.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Prize may not be transferred. No cash or other substitution may be given for a prize. Sponsor reserves right in its sole discretion to make a substitution, in whole or in part, for a prize of comparable or greater value. Gas cards are subject to terms of use of issuer. Winners are responsible for all taxes on a prize and any expenses not specified relating to the acceptance and use of a prize. Canadian winners will receive a gas card for a substantially equivalent value in Canadian currency.

WINNER NOTIFICATION. Winners will be notified by a traceable form of delivery and through e-mail or telephone. Each winner will be required to provide within a specified time period a photocopy of valid driver’s license and a completed and signed Declaration of Eligibility form. Failure to timely return the required documents or the return of any notification as undeliverable will cause selection of winner to be void and an alternate winner will be selected. If a winner is not of the age of majority (a “minor”) in state, province or territory of residence, all documents must be confirmed, ratified and signed by finalist’s parent or legal guardian. If the winner is determined not to be eligible, Sponsor will randomly select another winner through the same process. Canadian winner, as a condition of prize award, will be required to timely and correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question. Failure to do so will cause prize to be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY. By participating, participants (and if a minor, his or her parent or legal guardian) (a) agree to these official rules and the decisions of the judges and the Sponsor and its agents, which decisions shall be final in all respects; (b) release, indemnify and hold harmless Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, its parent and affiliated companies, Public Strategies, Inc., and their respective directors, officers and employees from any and all claims, liabilities, losses or damages of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to the infringement of intellectual property rights of others, resulting in whole or in part from their participation in the contest and the acceptance and use of the prize; and (c) if a winner, consent (except where prohibited by law) to the use of their name, likeness and location for advertising and publicity purposes by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, of its products and services and for promotion of driving safety. Participants agree that (a) Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries or mail, or for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure of Sponsor and its agents to receive entries for any reason whatsoever. In the event Sponsor determines that the integrity of the Contest has been impaired or corrupted for any reason and as a result cannot be offered or completed as planned, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or terminate the Contest and to select winners from among eligible participants legitimately received prior to the event causing cancellation or termination; and notice of cancellation will be posted at www.teensdrivesmart.com. The Contest shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Tennessee, U.S.A.; and any legal action concerning the Contest shall be brought only in a state or federal court located in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.

WINNERS’ LIST. Names of the winners will be posted on www.teensdrivesmart.com on a monthly basis after 6/30/08.
