Now Accepting Videos

Grab your camera – it’s time for the Teens Drive Smart Video Contest, now accepting entries until June 22. This is your chance to jump in the driver’s seat and show how we can all be safer behind the wheel. If you’ve got a compelling, creative idea related to safe driving, make a short video (25 or 55 seconds) about it, then register and enter it here for a chance to be a 2012 Teens Drive Smart Video Contest winner!

This isn’t Hollywood

Many Hollywood films are shot on a closed set, which means that they can get great action shots without harming innocent bystanders. They also rely on professionals to perform dangerous stunts. So don’t try to reenact a high speed chase on the local highway or jump from a moving vehicle while shooting your video. Be smart, film safe and use your head.

Your Video Could Air as a PSA

How cool is that? Past winning videos have aired more than 78,000 times, with almost 970 million people viewing them on TV stations from coast to coast. Your video could be the one that makes the difference in someone’s life – whether it encourages seat belt use or putting down the cell phone before putting the car in drive.

$25,000.00 College Scholarship

The top filmmaker will receive a $25,000 college scholarship AND have the video shown on MTV’s Jumbotron in Times Square in New York City; check out all the other prizes here.

Plus, your video could be broadcast on television by Bridgestone Americas as a public service announcement on stations around the country. Ten finalists will win a new set of tires.
