How tedious is it when you have some old, boring driver’s ed teacher with a comb over haircut trying to teach you how to drive safe and avoid distracted driving? Imagine if that driver’s ed teacher magically turned into the Teens Drive Smart team accompanied by Indy Lights race car drivers James Hinchcliffe, Martin Plowman and Stefan Wilson? Much better, right?!

Well, the students at Carroll Co58328_153352611357141_117304294961973_407012_3148100_nunty High School in Carrollton, Ky., got a real treat this past Thursday when Teens Drive Smart along with some of our friends over at Indy Car surprised everyone and showed up for a rally on teen driver safety filled with fun, candy and prizes.

During the presentation we held the Teens Drive Smart Quiz Bowl Extravaganza, our own version of Jeopardy, where the seniors at Carroll County won pizza for their entire class. Great job guys!

There was also autograph signings, free gift giveaways and a tire check event. The Mayor of Carrollton County, Dwight D. Louden, even showed up to show his support for teen driver safety education.

Were you at the rally last week? What did you think? How was the pizza? Leave us a comment and let us know!
